Take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) to Exit 62 North, Nicolls Road (C.R.97).
Go North on 97 toward Stony Brook (about 8 miles) to the end of the road.
Turn right onto Route 25A, traveling east through Setauket, until you reach Port Jefferson Village (about 4 miles).
When you reach the center of the village, continue straight on to East Broadway (the ferry terminal and Danford's will be on your left).
Head up the hill.  When you reach the top of the hill, you will see the entrance to Belle Terre on your left.
Just past the gates (Cliff Road), before the stop sign, you'll see The Ransome Inn; it's the second house on the left.
